The sunrise on 8/1/09 was graced with corals after a downpour the evening before. The air was sweeter than it normally is. All the sunrise colors were to the north only.
Sometimes taking in the entire sky can change a simple sunset into something more spectacular. I loved the beautiful changes in color over the local hills in this 180 degree, 26 foot long image. The moon was coming up in the east too.
This is a closeup (10' long) of the above panorama and some of the highlights can better be seen along with the moon.
